An Actor or a Helpless Father?

Many people of my generation [I mean 70s/late 70s] would be used to watch a Lahore station serial Khwaja and Sons which was very popular in 80s. The main cast of the play that is Khwaja Sahab was Ali Ejaz, a famous filmy then TV actor from Lahore station. The other main characters were Jawad, the son of Khwaja Shab and the girl I forget her character name but it was Samina Khalid. The unique dialogue delivery style of Ali Ejaz and Jawad Ji made that drama serial very popular at that time.

I don’t remember I have ever watched any other drama in which Ali Ejaz performed. I always remembered him as a Khwaja Sahab of Khwaja and Sons. Last night I was just doing nothing so sat in front of TV and start playing with remote control, I was stopped by a program on ATV channel in which Ali Ejaz was being interviewed. I had no intention to watch the program but I joined the show when he was discussing his lonely personal life and the behavior of his son and bahu[daughter in law]. The son of Ali Ejaz left his father all alone and shifted somewhere else. As usual the main reason was Bahu who didn’t want to stay with him. Ali Ejaz was telling that he also did a drama in which he played the role which life is forcing him to play in reality as well. I had completely forgotten that I was watching an interview of an actor. At that time he was sounding more a helpless father and grandpa than an actor. His bahu don’t allow him to meet his pota[ grandson] who I think is a young kid. Ali lives all alone in his home and keeps missing his beloved grandson. He was weeping and missing him. The interviewer was a lady and there was another gentleman who I think was either his fan or one of his office colleague because the location was Ali’s work place. The other gentleman told that his bahu’s or his son’s home was in route so that gentleman took a long route to Ali’s home because Ali then starts insisting to meet his grandson. Ah, when the lady asked Ali about his current passion, he simply replied, Mera Pota then he started crying. It certainly brought tears in my eyes too. How helpless he was, how cruel was that lady and his son. Parents are parents. Ali tried to access MD of PTV for the job of his same son who had left him. Ali already distributed all of his money to child(ren) and then the lady asked why did he do that, he simply replied, ‘Haq dar ko Haq pochadia’. I don’t understand how one gets so cruel for a ‘wife’ that he forgets everything done by parents? If one gets so cruel then I am really not interested to get married but is it right to blame that woman only? The guy, son of Ali was so impotent that he couldn’t say anything to protect his father. How come these people forget that they also have to face this phase of life? It’s weird which I can’t digest at all.

Ali then criticized the insensitive attitude of our TV and Film media which is not new for me. When we didn’t care of Mehdi Hasan and he had to go India for treatment then we shouldn’t expect something good for others. He complained that he was not being given any role in TV dramas by government and private channels.

We are the nation who is always thankless towards our great people. Here people don’t hesitate to curse Jinnah, the founder of the nation, Qadeer Khan, the next man after Jinnah who gave new life to this country. This attitude of us will lead us to a great disaster which we people can’t afford anyway. May God remove all such thankless elements from Pakistani soil, Ameen.

Ramadan basics

Ok there are few things which we muslims usually ignore while experiencing month of Ramadam. Look Ramadan is not all about staying away from food for 10-12 hrs and just visiting masjid for taraweeh[which normally people don't do] and eating lots of good stuff at Iftar time. Following are few things which me and you people often ignore.

• Tahajud: Tahajud is very important prayer which is offered around an hour before Fajar Salat. Quran specially order muslims to offer this special prayer and get closed to Allah.

And some part of the night awake for it, a largess for thee. it may be that thy Lord will raise thee to a praised estate(17:79)


Lo! Those who keep from evil will dwell amid gardens and watersprings, taking that which their Lord gives them. For, lo, they were doers of good. They used to sleep but little of the night and before the dawning of each day would seek forgiveness.'' (Adh-Dhariyat:15-18)

There are other verses as well but these two are enough to teach muslims the importance of Tahajud. It's not a big task, specially in Ramadan now. If you getup 30 mins before having meal for Sehri and offer 2 rakat Tahajud then it would give you endless sawab. The tahajud is the time when Allah stays on world's sky( the seventh sky) and His angels asks everyone that is there any who seeks forgiveness, who seeks the increase in his rizq. The tahajud time is really amazing and I personally say that its the most seren time in 24 hours of the day. In ramadan we are already awaken so it shoudnt bother us to spend 4 mins to offer salat-e-tahajud. If you want to get closed to Allah as soon as possible then start offering Tahajud.

• Salat style: We waste millions of minutes in crappy things and dont realise but then all of sudden we start realising importance of time when performing salat. Shame on us. Finishing 4 rakats in 2-3 minutes and 2 rakats in a minute doesn't really give benefit to us. Lool God doesn't need our prayers, here we are beggers and beggers are never chosers. The way we chose to offer salat is absurd,pathetic and unacceptable infront of Allah. Will any of you show such impatience to your Boss while he orders to stay late or make any argument? Most of you would happily get agreed because you know your boss will be happy. Why the hell do we forget that Allah is a supreme Boss and we have to make him happy too. Will we die if we offer salat slowly and properly?

I was offering first Taraweeh last night and weather is very hot here in Karachi. We were offfering Taraweeh in main big hall. After few rakats, people started yelling 'Imam sahab bahar namaz parhain garmi boht hay'. These were the people like me who are not so regular with jamat in masjid. Though I made a distinction by not whining like them for hotness. Can't they tolerate such hotness for Allah? This is not ibadat believe me it's not. Ibadat is all about love which is demonstrated to Allah. We demand our preferred enviornment to offer Salat while we don't say a word if our bosses call us in their rooms and keep us standing. we get silent at that time and don't get mad because we can't make our bosses angry but we are happily getting agreed to make Allah angry. Comeon man, Qais faced so many things just to get love of Laila and what kinda lovers are we that we start crying like kids and still we say 'we are muslims'. Shame on us. I wish everyone goes Makkah and then experience the real sprit of Ibadat where noone cries for extreeme weather and people happily put their forheads on iron like hot flood for seeking love of Allah.

• Controlling Nafs: Keep your gaze lower. You will not die if you don;t see your office girls or office guys[if you are a girl] for a month. Ramadan is all about controlling Nafs nothing else otherwise it's nothing but starvation. So keep your gaze lows, don't say any bad word even a small one. I remember a friend of mine who used to feel proud by giving maa behan ki galian in ramadan, poor chap *sigh*. Control yourself by not eating your favorite things in Iftar. Yes I would try this thing in this ramadan Inshallah. If you are fond of Pakoris, just avoid them, it will irk you for sure because they are infront of you. Pick anything else and eat it. Remember Nafs is your worst enemy and Allah only prions all devils but not Nafs. Nafs will keep forcing you to be disobedient. Tahajud is also a best tool to kill your nafs since you getup early against your will. Avoid smoking yes just dont smoke for 30 days damn it,you will not suffer big time.

• Reciting Quran and other Tasbeehs: Quran was revealed in Ramadan hence it increase the importance of recitation in Ramadan. The best time to recite Quran is Fajr or Tahajud time.

Remember the name of your Lord at morning and in the evening and part of the night (al-Dahr 76:25).


Hadith - Bukhari, Vol. 4, Hadith No. 446, Narrated Abu Huraira, r.a.
The Prophet (saaws) said, "Angels keep on descending from and ascending to the heaven in turn, some at night and some by daytime, and all of them assemble together at the time of the Fajr and 'Asr prayers. Then those who have stayed with you overnight, ascend unto Allah Who asks them (and He knows the answer better than they): "How have you left My slaves?" They reply, "We left them while they were praying and we came to them while they were praying.

Another Hadith


Aishah (raa), reported by Al-Bayhaqi, she said: "The house in which Al-Qur'an is recited is seen by the heavenly world as the stars are seen by the earthly world.


So these verses tell the importance of Quran's recition. There is no need to take burden that you have to finish Quran in ramadan. Ifyou do then very nice but coudn't due to genuine reasons then atleast read one page at Fajr/Tahajud time. It will really be beneficial for you. May God make possible for us all enjoy the true benefit of Ramadan-Ameen.

Last but not least, IF YOU ARE A REGULAR IN MASJIDS AND FOR TARAWEEH THEN DONT TRY TO BE A 'MUSLIM' BY MAKING FUN OF THOSE WHO ARE NEWBIES AND TRYING TO BE NAMAZI EVEN FOR A MONTH. I have personally experienced in childhood that several times I didn't go masjid because of fear that regular masjid members will make fun of me. Please quit this habbit and stop calling newbies as Barsati Maindak etc.

How to Spend Ramadan by Taqi Usmani

Ok Ramadan is going to be started in some part of the world from tomorrow so Happy Ramadan to all muslims who will keep their first roza tomorrow.

The devil came here yesterday-Chavez lashes out

hahaha, Oh my God!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! this guy Chavez really defeated everyone in world to offend bush so severely.I am very lucky that I was watching his live addresss to UN.His speech was intresting no doubt but his body language,the way he was enjoying his own speech and talking about Bush was funny.Even people present over there were laughing.Keeping Noam Chomsky's book in hand and referring alfred hitchcock made his speech more spicy. He was applauded by UN members.

Being a Kafir

As I said before that unlike many bloggers I do not like to share my every bit of personal life with strangers. I have seen people who at one side say reveal everything to outer world but claim it’s all personal. This is very weird philosophy in my sight but I think the meaning of “personal” is different for different people.

Though I dislike but I know that someone’s personal experience might bring some positive change in others life that’s why I am sharing my today’s activity. Actually today was not special. It’s just I was feeling weird. Weird in a sense that my mood was not so good and one of the main reason that I missed 2 Isha and 2 Tahajud prayers [No I am not showing off. It’s just a lesson to many million ignorant Muslims like me that hope never dies]. I have been trying to be regular for tahajud for last one week and it’s really awesome experience. Since I have a separate room therefore I can offer prayers easily without any external disturbance [yeah Inner disturbance never dies as my old friends Ibless and Nafs always try be with me].

This was not the first time that I had missed Isha neither I am a person who have been regular in Fajr. The issue is that it was very first time that I felt I have lost something. Something was missing. Yes believe me it was very first time [why do I lie to pretend as a genuine Muslim while I am not?] and since it happened twice that is missing of prayers then it made my mood more bad. The feelings occupied me that I had made Allah angry and due to this feeling my starting of day was really not good. I reached office and after an hour I heard a bad news that in our office timings in Ramadan had been extended. In past they were 7:30AM to 1:00PM and now 30 mins have been added more. It did ruin my Boss’ plan who was planning to quit office at 1:00 pm sharp and then offer zohar somewhere in the middle and reach home early. Similarly Friday timings will be 12:30 pm which were 12:00 noon in past. This news made my belief more strengthen that Allah had really got mad at me.

After lunch somebody told that our dept might not be given new laptops and even if they are given then only seniors will be eligible for that because higher management didn’t approve the quota for while department[12 people]. Again, it made me more perplexed. I didn’t know what to do, I just SMSed my younger sister and told all these things. She as usual tried to support me but her words were not enough at all. Suddenly I felt that I was being disappointed. No matter whatever I do to pretend that I never disappoint because I read somewhere that in Islam Disappointment is Kufr but my every action was actually reflecting my disappointment. Now situation was getting worst. I didn’t know what to do. After zohar jamat, one of our namazi bhai arranges a gathering of tableegh which is mainly about different topics about Namaz. Today he read a Hadith which I don’t remember exactly but central idea was that Salat stops one from nasty and unpleasant activities and those who exercise both salat and bad stuff parallel are really idiots[ok this idiot stuff was added by me]Suddenly I realized that I was doing something which was not appropriate. No no please don’t think I was doing something very dirty. I don’t want to share every thing now. I was also not regular to recite darood sharif when doing nothing. Khair I tried to reconcile myself and got ready to not to obey my Nafs. I left office early [15 mins before official time]. I came back to home; sister asked that what was wrong with me. She tied to cheer up and she thought that I was hiding something while I was not. Acha thing is that everything happened weird today. I came back home and as soon as I turn my fan on, power off. It seemed like that whole world was conspiring against me. I was really like a crying baby and felt so uncomfortable that I have really committed some big sin. Ok I share with you. I had decided that I would not see any girl at my office or anywhere on road no matter what and if ever by mistake I see then I would take my sights off. No please don’t consider me like every other desi guy who just stare girls so badly that even guy like me feel ashamed. I am really talking about first sight which usually last for long. Anyway in Islam staring girls or vice versa is not allowed and its considered rape via eyes. I usually keep my gaze lower when I am all aware that girls are around but please do remember I am a human with infinite sins and as I once said that controlling Nafs is not an easy task and since I am being too cautious now therefore my first though went there. After realizing that, I cursed myself infinite times, I imagined myself a person who is coated with every rotten and shitty thing on earth. This feeling did give me a good change but still my disappointment didn’t vanish at all. During shower I really understood the meaning of Disappointment is Kufr. Kufr means rejecting God and start trusting non-Godly things. I was really being an infidel because I was losing faith by getting worried for things which happened today in office like Ramadan timings, laptop etc. Look there are Muslims and then Quran also talks about Momins. The difference which I understand between a Muslim and a momin that momin never lose faith and no matter what they are solid and determined. I am infinite moments away from such people. I have to work hard. It’s difficult but not impossible for anyone. At least it doesn’t appear difficult if you just believe that your Nafs and Ibless are your worst enemy. If you have any material of hatred then utilize all of this on these two buddies, it will not be a bad deal at all.

Pray for me and do take initiative against your Nafoos. The Prophet (SAW) tried to tell that battling with Nafs is not a child’s play. So do fight against your nafs rather you just keep fighting with your husbands, wives, girlfriend or boy friends.


Sorry for yet another lengthy and bogus entry but it’s all about me and since it is my blog therefore I am free to make as lengthy entry as I want [ok I am kidding and I don’t want someone label me selfish after this remarks]. Believe me that I had never ever imagined that I would blog about politics and current affairs. The reason I resumed blogging that I wanted to share my experience about exploring Islam due to different circumstances. I am still waiting for that moment when I share all those things. I know it might not be necessary for someone but I just want to write about it because it would help me in future to figure out many things and till I am determined that after revealing all that personal story I would stop blogging here. I am kinda tired. I never made any deliberate attempt to act like a preacher here neither world today wants to listen others, especially to a guy like me who doesn’t appear compatible with modern world. Khair lets see what happens. I have already offered Isha now and feeling quite better. Pray I get up early.

Why only Pope?

I have been reading for two days that several Muslim leaders around the world reacting against Pope lunatic statment against Islam and its association with concept of Jihad.While I myself condemned Pope's remarks but I am feeling kinda politics against Pope now.


It's not very old news when Bush cameup with the term Islamofacists.Where were all those so called Muslim leaders,scholars,Imaams at that time?Where were they hibernating that they didn't pay attention to Bush's remarks and being 'muslim' by attacking on Pope now.If they ignore Bush because He's a lamer then I consider that case but If they didn't say anything agaisnt Bush because He is the president of United States of America then its very fishy.

Hey Pope Wassup? I think climate of Germany is not good for you anymore. Yesterday I read in papers that you were talking something against Jihad and equating it with ‘Holy war’. You also taught something new to me that Bible doesn’t preach about Jihad(a/c to you Holy war)?Man you have really disappointed me. Believe me. I really paid no attention when one of your spoilt brat came up with term like Islamofascism because he usually talks lame but I was not expecting such stupidityfrom you. I can understand your hatred against Islam and well aware that unlike Pope John Paul, you believe that Muslims’ God is different than Jesus (AS)’s God but your claim that Jihad or Holy war as you said, is concept of Islam only and was never preached in Bible neither Christians believe in this? Wait a minute!

Crusades, Does it ring a bell?

And I am still shaking my head with disbelief that you are publicly lying about Bible. May I quote some biblical verses here to remind you what actually God ordered to you guys?

Gods of the peoples around you, whether near or far, from one end of the land to the other), do not yield to him or listen to him. Show him no pity. Do not spare him or shield him. You must certainly put him to death. Your hand must be the first in putting him to death, and then the hands of all the people. Stone him to death, because he tried to turn you away from the LORD your God, who brought you out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery. Then all Israel will hear and be afraid, and no one among you will do such an evil thing again (Deuteronomy 13:7-12)

Now read Quran’s Chapter 9 verse # 5

So when the sacred months have passed away, then slay the idolaters wherever you find them, and take them captives and besiege them and lie in wait for them in every ambush, then if they repent and keep up prayer and pay the poor-rate, leave their way free to them; surely Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.

Do you find any difference? In words off course both verses preaching violence and terrorism but I will certainly not take bible verse out of context like you guys who always take this particular verse out of context by saying that Allah orders to kill every non-muslim in His Quran. First few verses of Chapter 9 actually talks about famous Hudebiya Treaty betweens Muslims and Pagans of Makkah.Read below:

(This is a declaration of) immunity by Allah and His Messenger towards those of the idolaters with whom you made an agreement.(Quran 9:001).

I have no idea about back ground of that particular Deut verse but I would rather say that it would actually have some background or it’s a man-made verse injected in Bible and before you reject Old Testament’s verses by saying that Christians don’t follow OT,let me quote another verse from Matthew.

Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. I tell you the truth, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished. Anyone who breaks one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do the same will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever practices and teaches these commands will be called great in the kingdom of heaven(Matthew 5:13-19).

Just forget what we follow or not, you guys don’t even follow your own Bible.

And you ignorantly equated Jihad with Holy war; I wish you would have spent just few minutes on Internet (Do you have some Internet account and laptop?) to search about actual meaning of Jihad.

The meaning of Jihad is nothing but “to struggle” that is, struggle against evil forces in and out of religion and jihad has more than one type. One is by writings called Jihad bil Qalam in Arabic, then Jihad bin Nasf that is struggle against self then Jihad bil Maal(Charity) and then Jihad Bissaif(The holy war) and it is very last option. The biggest Jihad according to Prophet (SAW) is Jihad bin Nafs and believe me man its my personal experience that fighting against enemies in battle field is thousand times easier than fighting against our own evil instincts because in battle field you are already in an environment of war which helps to boost your morale but there is no such supportive environment to fight against self. Temptation every where. Do you know that in Islam, seeing a girl is equivalent to rape? God clearly orders us, Lower your gaze,which we ignorant Muslims never follow. Imagine bunch of pretty girls on roads and you just ignore them. Not an easy task dude. Imagine your favorite TV program is on and suddenly you hear Azaan via loudspeakers of Masjid and you just switch the TV off and run towards Masjid. Imagine you get lots of money as reward or by some other mean and you just distribute all among poor people just to please God, not very easy man not very easy. Am I sounding not real? I might not be but these are facts and people have fully followed such orders and few are still following and such people really earn their shares in Kingdom of Heavenas described above in Matthew.

Anyway Pontiff, I don’t consider you a sane man anymore. You appeared as ignorant as Bush. There is a famous line in my Urdu language.

Desi Tim Sebastian

During 2nd Gulf war in 2003 when everyone was preferring to sit in front of TV to get the latest war updates, I got chance to watch an episode of Tim Sebastian’s Hard Talk in which he was brutally murdering one of US govt official. Since that day I become a big fan of him. Now I heard he doesn’t conduct that show anymore. I don’t know why :( but some local channels tried to copy him. GEO came up with a show Jawab Da which I often watch and enjoy though I missed the show in which Benazir got so mad that she threw the mic away and left the show.

Meet Mubashar Luqman who is/was also associated with Pakistani Film Industry and directed movie like Pehla Pehla Pyar. He has emerged himself as a rough, sarcastic and rude and off course a knowledgeable host like Tim Sebastian or maybe more severe than him .Luqman conducts host a serious show Luqman Dot Com on Business Plus channel in which he doesn’t miss any chance to dissect his guest(s).I am not regular but still managed to watch few of his programs. Specially the way he knocked out Tehmina Doltana was awesome. She was being like Khisyani Billi Khamba Nochey. Today his guest was Punjab Fishery Minister Jaam Hashim or something. Oh boy it seemed that it was his judgment day.

The program begins with the question to a Minister, Kitnay Kama liye ab tak? in sarcastic tone. You guys would agree with me that you can’t expect some one in Pakistan to ask such question to a minister.Yeah Shahid Masood do have guts but this man is really Baap of him. Minister actually misjudged his host and thought he would make him fool by saying lots of Alhamdolillah, Inshallah and Mashallah though I know at the end of the show he would be saying Laholwala quat Illah billah in heart.

Sorry this post will be lengthy as usual but I would like to inform our fish lovers, especially in Punjab about reality. According to Minister, most of fish demand in Punjab is being met locally fish farmers. He was then asked about actual figure of demand, No answer just Ain bain Shain. That person was not even aware that total demand of fish in Punjab is 2000Kg/day out of which 16,000kg is being imported from Burma and as Luqman revealed further; it is actually expired Indian fish which first goes to Burma then to Karachi port and finally reach to Punjab province and people has been eating poisonous fish for long time. They bought @Rs.30/Kg and in market it is sold 200+/Kg. Can you guess he was not even aware of fish’s type properly? He was NOT even aware of budget of His ministry. When he was asked about cost required to setup a farm, he replied PKR 60,000. When he was told that on official website it is four corore ruppees then he was like a dead dog. Interesting thing was that a PPPP female member Uzma and a big private fish farmer were there as well and they were also playing with poor Minister. He didn’t know anything about his own ministry. The annual non-development budget of Fishery ministry is 12 corore and development budget? Well according to him 5 corore but official report of his department says 4 corore and as usual he was a blank faced person. The program reached to a stage when Luqman clearly said to him, Aap incompetent hain, corrupt hain. Great work Luqman to come up with such a wonderful political show. Business plus has really pulled out talented people to beat old competitors.

In last Luqman said to him that he should have gone to CM of Punjab, reveal all things and submit the resignation. Can you guess what would be his answer? =)

Balochistan Unleashed

I came across a fine piece of report few months back when Pakistan Govt Army decided to crackdown against militant movements and sardars of Balochistan but I missed this link and had been trying to find it since that day. The Urdu version of same report published in Ummat during same month but I couldn’t capture it as well. Today this report was discussed in Jang and I found the keyword which could lead me to the actual source. I don’t know this news is new for you or not. This is also not up-to-date but more relevant than any latest news.

This is a courageous attempt by a five men army. Tariq Saeedi in Ashgabat, Sergi Pyatakov in Moscow, Ali Nasimzadeh in Zahidan, Qasim Jan in Kandahar and S M Kasi in Quetta. They were supported by reports, Rupa in Delhi and Mark from Washington D.C.

This report is comprised of two parts and due to its length I can’t quote word by word but would definitely share critical excerpts of the report. How this report appears different than others because it is based on information provided by two ex-members of KGB who are considered masterminds of BLA (Balochistan Liberation Army).From the report:


In the wake of 9-11, when the United States came rushing to Afghanistan with little preparation and less insight, the need was felt immediately to create sources of information and action that should be independent of the government of Pakistan. As Bush peered into the soul of Putin and found him a good guy, Rumsfeld also did his own peering into the soul of his Russian counterpart and found him a good game. The result was extensive and generous consultation by Russian veterans who knew more about Afghanistan and Balochistan than the Americans could hope to find.

Report further reveals:

“When we first started the BLA thing, it was logical to ask for RAW assistance because they have several thousands of ground contacts in Pakistan, many of them in Balochistan,” said Sasha.

“Anyone wanting to set shop in Pakistan needs to lean on RAW,” added Misha.


Question: What was the purpose of Russian invasion of Afghanistan?

Misha: The Soviet Union was not in love with Afghanistan itself and by now everyone must have understood it. We, or at least our leaders, wanted a convenient corridor to the warm waters of the Indian Ocean -- the idea was to first establish full control in Kabul and from there to raise the double-bogey of Pakhtunistan and Greater Balochistan and try to detach at least a part of Balochistan from Pakistan and to either merge it as a new province of Afghanistan or to create a new country that should be under the firm control of Moscow. That would have solved most of the problems facing Kremlin.


As I mentioned above that this report is not so up-to-date but the maps of greater Balochistan are not secret anymore.

Question: Who could have revived BLA after so many years of inactivity?

Misha: Most likely, Pentagon. With good lot of support from Kremlin. You should keep in mind that reviving such an organization is a tricky task and it needs active support from a number of players. Pentagon and Kremlin would not be able to do much without some help from RAW that has hundreds of active contacts all over Balochistan. Russia could have helped negotiate the involvement of Balach Marri in the project.


Qeustion:....could you give us any coherent reasons for going to such great lengths for disturbing Pakistan that is supposed to be a frontline ally of the United States on its war against terrorism?

Misha and Sasha: [Misha laughed so hard that tears came to his eyes while Sasha merely kept smiling in an absentminded way] – Frontline ally? Are you kidding? Americans are using Pakistan and Pakistanis would soon find it out if they have not already. Americans don’t need that kind of allies and they have made it abundantly clear for anyone who can read their policy goals correctly. Let them deal with Iran and you would see. If there can be any desirable American ally in that region, that is Iran – Iran under a different regime, and they are working to that end. Except for Balochistan, the rest of Pakistan is useless for them.

Sounds shocking? Yes it does but it would not be shocking for those who even know a little bit about policies of neocons for fulfilling of their interests. I would definitely like my readers to spend few times in front of PC and watch this awesome documentary by Adam Curtis which is banned in United States. It would definitely help you to know the background of USSR war and the tactics used by Neocons to defeat communism by introducing Osama Bin Laden and later Al-Qaeda to penetrate further in Mideast region.

There is no doubt that Americans use Pakistani rulers for sake of their interest. In fact they use every other source which is handy for their ‘cause’. OBL (Osama Bin Laden) might be sweetheart of many emotional Muslims who get excited after watching him on TV but for me He is yet another Lawrence of Arabia for the Muslim world. Iran is not a surprising factor at all. They have good relations with India than Pakistan.IMHO or as I got chance to chat with few Iranians online, they consider Pakistan a Sunni state so naturally it does create a negative factor against Pakistan. This is just my speculation and I have no intention to be anti-Shia in this post neither I am but since I am sharing what I experienced so I wouldn’t lie. At least India-Iran relationship is not a secret at all. By the way they do tell the reasons which could make Iran against us.

Report says further

Misha: Moreover, you cannot ignore the fact that India is preparing to use Afghanistan as its main artery system to connect with Central Asia and it would not allow Pakistan to share this sphere if it can.

Again India-Afghan relationship is clear to us. Afghans are in love with Aishwarya and Shahrukh Khan just like Karzai is in love with MMH and Sonia Gandhi. India is constantly supplying all kind of services to Afghanistan and Afghanistan in return keeps biting us by labeling us terrorism supporter.


Question: What about Iran? Why should Iran be a party to it?

Misha: Iran has incurred great expenses to develop Chah Bahar, the port that is supposed to be the Iranian answer to Pakistani ports of Gawadar and Pasni. Iran has also done lot of work to create excellent road link between Herat and Chah Bahar. All this would go to waste if Pakistani route comes on line because it is shorter and offers quick commuting possibilities between Central Asia and Indian Ocean.’


Question: The way the things are progressing in Balochistan, what could be the likely outcome?

Misha: If no strong action is taken for another few months, the result could be bifurcation of Pakistan (God forbid).

BTW, that God forbid was added by me not by ex-KGB guys. They are not used to of anything related with God *grin*.

Now the Important step which Pakistan has now taken seriously.

Question: Hypothetically speaking, if the Pakistan government asked your advice, what would you suggest?

Sasha: The options are few. They should abolish Serdari system immediately and crack down powerfully on the private armies. As far as I know, the constitution of Pakistan does not allow Serdari system and private armies and there would be no legal questions if those laws are implemented with the full help of state power.

Now what about poor Pakistan? Well what should I say? Only China is the country which still tolerating us I don’t know why otherwise neither Iran is ours nor whole Middle East. Forget USA, we are already under their paws. The saddest part of the story is that Pakistani policy makers doesn’t understand all this or they are smart enough that they even know but for them power is more Important than a country. The thing which irks more that our educated class which has earned education from good local and foreign institutes and many of them have spent lives in US,UK and other regions also become naïve about US-Pakistan relationship and foreign influence. This is very pathetic situation especially when things are getting out of control; we are still fighting with each other about Kalabagh dam, Punjabism influence over other provinces, Musharraf’s Wardi, Hudood Ordinance etc.

The president demoted the head of Pakistan's powerful ISI military intelligence agency, Lt General Mehmood Ahmed, and also pushed out his deputy chief of army staff, General Muzaffar Hussain Usmani. Both officers were regarded as hardline Islamists

"Gen Musharraf can't afford to have any group within the army which has a different viewpoint," Lt Gen Talat Masood, a close friend of the general's and a former minister, said. "He now has a team which is totally aligned to him both intellectually and conceptually."

And many people who are not ignorant are well aware of tasks of such team.Guardian further says.


The changes would prevent internal bickering, he added. "Gen Musharraf is very committed to his policy (of backing the United States). He wants the whole country to be committed as well," he added.

Hudood Ordinance: Myths and Facts

Yesterday I got a good website link about Hudood Ordinance from Karachi metroblog website where a reader posted the link .In this website Mufti Taqi Usmani Shaab have comeup with a detailed examination of old and new hudood law.The article link is given here though still I would like add my own words as well.

Look first of all I believe that this issue has been brought up only to create confusion among illetrate Pakistanis about Islam.I used the word Illetrate rather uneducated because several degree holders are illetrate du to their mentality and lack of understanding about different matters.

There is a cabal among us who wishes to promotes secularism in Pakistan.Same cabal also labelled Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah a secularist as well though Jinnah never gave any such impression that he wanted a secular state.

The term Seclularism itself is very vague.In general secularism is treated as 'Freedom of speech and adaption of a religion' while reality is something else.

The world 'secular' is a Latin word which means "In present world".The term secularism itself was coined by George Jacob Holyoake in 1847 in order to describe a form of opinion which concerns itself only with questions,he issues of which can be tested by the experience of this life

Holyoake explains its further:

Secularism is that which seeks the development of the physical, moral, and intellectual nature of man to the highest possible point, as the immediate duty of life - which inculcates the practical sufficiency of natural morality apart from Atheism, Theism or the Bible - which selects as its methods of procedure the promotion of human improvement by material means, and proposes these positive agreements as the common bond of union, to all who would regulate life by reason and ennoble it by service" (Principles of Secularism, 17).

Once again the main source is "Materlism" rather sprituality which is against Aethism.Secondly Aethism doesn't believe in hereafter concept given by all Abrahamic faiths.And other MOST important thing;Holyoake was an agonistic.

Therefore IMHO,Secularism is actually Aethism coated with few statments to make it vague.Charles Bradlaugh(1833-1891),the most powerful secularist of that time said in a public debate with Holyoake in 1870 said:

Although at present it may be perfectly true that all men who are Secularists are not Atheists, I put it that in my opinion the logical consequence of the acceptance of Secularism must be that the man gets to Atheism if he has brains enough to comprehend.

Many religion followers whether they re muslims,hindus,christians ,jews etc feel proud to be labelled as SECULARIST but if they do make a little effort,they will realise that they re intentially or unintentially being Anti-God.I am specially adressing to Muslims now that Please do realise wht you talk about rather being a copycat jerk of West.Secularism is NOT about giving freedom of religion.Do repent to Allah!Our Pakistanis dont even hesitate to label Jinnah as secular.I was in discussion with few guys on Adil's blog where they gave Fatwa that Jinnah is a secular due to his speech in which he said that every Pakistani is free to follow his religion.Does that make one secularist?Even Quran says similar in Surah Kafiroon Lakum Denokum Waliyadeen( You have your path and I have mine.).Does this mean its secularism?I already explained what actually is secularism which has NOTHING to do with freedom at all.

Ok lets suppose that secularism is all about laws which have no influence of religion and it gives freedom. Now on paper India and USA are two main states which are considered SECULAR(Atheist) states but is this the reality?In India we are used to here cast issues and killing of minorities like any other country on earth.In U.S ,well its not a hidden fact that Bush is a Christian President who is following Bible to kill anti-bible people(that is Muslim Infidels).The US government machinery is actually controlled by Jews or Zions.Take a very simple example. The weekly holidays of Saturday and Sunday. Saturday is a Holyday for Jews which is called Sabbath and Sunday is for Christian. Now If USA is really a secular state, why didn’t they come up with some other day for recreation?

The reason I involved secularism in my Hudood Post that many desi secularists consider this law is a ‘prison’ for Pakistani Women and for them the solution of all problems is Secularism which is promoted by Pakistani Muslims as well. The detail commentary is given by Usmani sahib in the article but I would discuss one or two funny parts of these amendments.

a)if the person in respect of whom the Qazf has been committed is alive, that person or any person authorized by him therefore Amendment Commission came up with an absurd statmemt;please read:

It is obvious from the wording used in this clause that the drafters of this law overlooked and completely ignored women. exclusion of term ‘her’ means that is only a main against whom Qazf is committed is eligible to file a complaint

Now it really gave me laugh. I am not a law student but even in general speaking we use such masculine terms to cover both male and female.

If a teacher orders to student in Urdu Koi class se bahar nahi jaye ga! , Does it mean that it was for MALE students only?Ah!! Secularists and their lame theories.

Do read another clause which clears how sincere they are to Protect Women.

I personally didn’t give a damn to such developments. Don’t I say right that this issue is nothing but to create confusion among muslims?They were never serious to resolve the issue.If they are really serious,why don’t they hang fudals who always commit crime of KaroKari ,Wanni and others against Women?

Guide to offer proper Salat-Urdu version

Well we all know that as muslims that we are ordered to offer Salat(Namaz) atleast 5 times a day.It's very common observation that majority of us(around 90+%) don't offer it properly.

Look first of all keep one thing in your mind that Salat is not all about body movement and reciting few arabic verses from mouth.It can be done by anyone.Even a non-muslim can mimic some muslim's salat procedure.As my friend Kumar asked in last thread that was reading a book make one able to getinto paradise?The question is very very good and relevent.Unfortunately majority of muslims think same as they take religion as granted,thus they think paradise is for them anyway.

The Prophet(SAW) says that one of the sign of Qayamah is that there would be no more Kushoo in Namaz.Quran says in Surah 23 verse No :2

The Believers will prosper. Those who are humble and submissive in their prayers (khaashi'oon)

So this verse clearly instructs the importance of Kushoo in Namaz.Kushoo in simple words means 'Concentration' that is; concentrate physically,mentally and offer steps properly.

My university friend and now colleague gave me a book by Molana Taqi Usmani Sahab for offering proper prayer.This book is in hard copy format and in Urdu language.I took mobile snaps and made a simple user friendly interface for online users.If anyone is willing to translate it in English or any other language then please do let me know.It will definately be a great task.May Allah guide us to offer Salat properly-Ameen.

Quoting Religious matters

This morning a colleague of mine forwarded me the following text by declaring its a 'Hadith'.Actually he didnt declare it a 'Hadith',He just forwarded the mail.The content of email is:


Rasulullah (Sallalloho alaihe Wa-aalay wasallam) said:

"When a man dies and his relatives are busy in funeral, there stands an extremely handsome man by his head. When the dead body is shrouded, that man gets in between the shroud and the chest of the deceased.

When after the burial, the people return home, 2 angels, Munkar and Nakeer (names of two special Angels), come in the grave and try to separate this handsome man so that they may be able to interrogate the dead man in privacy about his faith.

But the handsome man says, "He is my companion, he is my friend. I will not leave him alone in any case. If you are appointed for interrogation, do your job. I cannot leave him until I get him admitted into Paradise".

Thereafter he turns to his dead companion and says, "I am the Qura'an, which you used to read, sometimes in a loud voice and sometimes in a low voice. Do not worry.
After the interrogation of Munkar and Naker, you will have no grief. When the interrogation is over, the handsome man arranges for him from Al-Mala'ul A'laa (the angels in Heaven) a silk bedding filled with musk.

Rasulullah (Sallalloho alaihe Wa-aalay wasallam) said:

"On the Day of Judgement, before Allah, no other intercessor will have a greater status than the Qura'an, neither a Prophet nor an angel Please keep forwarding this "Hadith" to all ...because Rasulullah(Sallalloho alaihe Wa-aalay
wasallam) said:

"Pass on knowledge from me even if it is only one verse".

May Allah bestow this favour on all of us.

First of all I have no Intention to deny the Importance of recitation of Quran.My whole issue is that one doesn't use any good statement as 'Hadith' and spread to others.Majority of muslims dont have knowledge to authenticate a hadith.Therefore I request all muslim brothers and sisters that do make sure first when quoting hadiths.Specially hadiths about some problem and Fiqh problems.

Other thing is that if you find some hadith online or in book which has mentioned only name like Bukhari or Muslim,do make a little research about hadith names.For instance this website quoting hadiths about Quran:

Abu Umama said he heard Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) say: Recite the Qur'an, for on the Day of Resurrection it will come as an intercessor for those who recite It. Recite the two bright ones, al-Baqara and Surah Al 'Imran, for on the Day of Resurrection they will come as two clouds or two shades, or two flocks of birds in ranks, pleading for those who recite them. Recite Surah al-Baqara, for to take recourse to it is a blessing and to give it up is a cause of grief, and the magicians cannot confront it. (Mu'awiya said: It has been conveyed to me that here Batala means magicians.)

Abu Malik at-Ash'ari reported: The Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) said: Cleanliness is half of faith and al-Hamdu Liliah (Praise be to Allah) fills the scale, and Subhan Allah (Glory be to Allah) and al-Hamdu Liliah (Praise be to Allah) fill upwhat is between the heavens and the earth, and prayer is a light, and charity is proof (of one's faith) and endurance is a brightness and the Holy Qur'an is a proof on your behalf or against you. All men go out early in the morning and sell themselves, thereby setting themselves free or destroying themselves.


So please make sure first before forwarding any hadith to fellows.I stil DONT say that first one which got from email is NOT hadith.It could be a hadith ,its just i searched in 4 books not other three.But since this hadith is just telling importance or advantage of something rather giving some verdict about some prayer(salat,fasting,zakat etc) so its better that unles you are 100% sure dont forward it by saying Hadith.If you find something,read it and just kept to yourself because you are not sure its a genuine one,a week one or a fabricated one.More about different kind of hadiths can be checked here. Offcourse people who lie in name of ALlah and His Apostle(SAW) are damned by Allah and Messenger(SAW).The Prophet says:


Volume 1, Book 3, Number 106:

Narrated 'Ali:

The Prophet said, "Do not tell a lie against me for whoever tells a lie against me (intentionally) then he will surely enter the Hell-fire."


In Quran Allah says:


"See ye what things Allah hath sent down to you for sustenance? Yet ye hold forbidden some things thereof and (some things) lawful." Say: "Hath Allah indeed permitted you, or do ye invent (things) to attribute to Allah?"(Quran 10:59)


Others sms/emails I often recieve about Mosque and Masjid are not equivalent terms and Mosque means house of Mosquitoes.tsk tsk how illetrate are we that we believe in such hoax blindly.

Where were these two sisters when lots of lots of people of Bugti's tribe were being tortured?Where were these so called 'Women rights' preachers when Bugti had banend education of his tribal kids.

I really despise liberals who declare themselves as MUSLIMS and comeup with pathetic,moronic and lame interpetitions about Islam,these so called human rights activists.My despise for them is more severe than haterd against Satan 'Iblees' who atleast is honest enough about activities and Never pretended to be a 'good'.

A Bad day for England

At one side Pakistan defeated England in 2nd ODI by 7 wickets while on other hand 14 British troops died in Afghanistan. Really It's not something pleasent for Queen of England but please don't get dishearted your highness. Our politicians,fudal lords Yours old slaves have been mourning.They didn't mourn much when Pakistan was honoured with another 'Shaheed' few days back after Bhutto.You're not alone.You're not alone at all.

Please please don't curse us.We are very poor,ignorant and and harmless souls who have no idea that why Darrell Hair created a mess in ground and you suffered a loss of millions of pounds in last Test match.Its really not our fault that why our General committed to remove Talibans so that you could step back in that region but those talibans are still a 'hard target' for your spoilt brat Blair.Please don't get mad your highness.We are ready to donate your sincerest and ancient slaves at free cost.Offcourse this donation is more necessary than stray dogs donation to Korea because we think that stray dogs are infinite time less harmful than your ancient wellwishers.

Please do accept my apology if I sound rude to you.Please don't send another East India company or another Mountbatten to this region.Jinnah is not with us anymore.

The Jamarat Expansion Project

In my recent visit to Makkah when I was visiting different famous/sacred places,our cab driver drove towards road which goes to Muzdalfah.We were told about Tripple story Jamarat Briidge.Though lots of work needs to be done and picture is not clear if you visit the site.


This morning a friend and colleague of mine forwarded me images about future jamarat bridge.

These 3 umbrella like structure will be Jamarat which will replace the old structure.
